Update Nevect
Use the panel update action and verify the final result before retrying.
Prepare
Read the release notes and confirm a suitable backup can be recovered. Check current disk capacity and installation health. Renewing a license and updating software are separate operations.
Apply the available update
- Open the panel's update entry when a Nevect update is available.
- Review the offered version and notes.
- Start the update once and keep the page open.
- Wait for the recorded result.
- Check Monitor, the visible version, license state and normal panel access.
Use the update action for an existing installation. A fresh installation command is not the update path for a server containing tracking data. Downgrades are not supported.
A timeout occurred
A long update can outlast a gateway's request timeout. The panel checks the update result while the operation is running. Do not start a second update based only on a timeout message. Inspect the actual result and health before retrying.
After the update
Verify a normal page refresh loads the expected interface. Check an existing campaign's configuration and the normal tracking path without changing live destinations. If the operation fails, retain the target version, time, terminal result and relevant non-sensitive error for support.
