Paths & rules
Reusable rotations
Share routing definitions intentionally across campaigns.
When to use a rotation
A shared rotation keeps a reusable set of paths and rules together. It is useful when several campaigns need the same destination logic. A change to that shared object can affect every campaign that uses it.
Create and attach
Open Rotations → Create, name the rotation, then configure its default paths and rules. Save and select the rotation in the intended campaign. Confirm whether the campaign is using a shared rotation or its own local distribution before editing.
Review selection mode
Normal weighted distribution, visitor fixing and ordered selection solve different problems. Choose the mode that matches the test you want to run. Smart rotation adds visitor-history behavior and needs separate verification.
Test the dependency
Make a controlled campaign visit and inspect its path and offer. Where multiple campaigns use the same rotation, verify at least one visit through each distinct campaign configuration.
Changes and recovery
Record dependent campaigns before changing shared destinations. Clone the rotation when a new experiment should not alter the original. Keep the prior path and rule configuration so you can restore the intended behavior without clearing historical tracking data.
