Users & API
Users and permissions
Give each operator access to the resources they need.
Separate identities
The Nevect website account manages orders and installation licenses. Panel users operate the tracker on your server. Creating a website account does not automatically create a new panel operator.
Add a panel user
Open Users, create the operator and configure the available role or access controls. Assign the campaigns and resources required for the work. Use a separate identity for each person rather than sharing the installation administrator.
Verify access
Sign in as the new user in a separate browser context. Check both the visible navigation and actual access to permitted resources. Confirm that another user's campaigns and management actions are unavailable when they should be.
API permissions
An API key acts with its user's access. For a third-party integration, create a dedicated restricted user and use that user's key. An administrator key can expose far more data and actions than the integration needs.
Maintain the team
Review access when responsibilities change. Remove or suspend access using the supported controls when an operator leaves. Revoke associated integration credentials as needed and check shared scripts for old keys. Labels and groups organize resources; verify the permission assignment separately.
